15 Oct In Loving Memory of Dr. Barbara Lewis King
The Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and on behalf of my wife and myself, would like to give our heartfelt condolences to the family of Dr. Barbara Lewis King. She was a friend to SCLC and a personal friend of mine. Dr. Barbara King was the first to receive me during my first term as SCLC president. She was a kind and caring spirit. Dr. Barbara King understood the philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and implemented it in her everyday life. Dr. Barabara King was a true warrior for justice and equality. She was world renowned in her leadership. Dr. Barabara always spoke about us to taking a trip togther to visit Ghana. She loved speaking about her international projects, she loved traveling around the world, but most of all, she loved God. She will be truly missed by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC).
